To Villa Siena Families of Residents and Staff:
Villa Siena is happy to report that we have not had any cases of COVID-19 in the facility for several weeks. We are eagerly awaiting new guidelines from the county regarding indoor visits and family outings for the residents. Since we remain COVID-free, we are able to offer more opportunities for outside visitation. We are now scheduling outdoor courtyard visits. These visits must be scheduled in advance and each visitor will be asked to consent to a list of rules associated with the visit. Time slots will be available Monday through Friday at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Parlor visits will also continue by appointment only. Each resident will be allowed 3 visitors per visit in the courtyard. These visitors must be from the same household and must follow all the guidelines. Hopefully, the weather will be warm enough to make this possible. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact Michelle Cortez at 650-961-6484 or email at email@example.com Regarding visits outside the facility, we do allow doctor visits and short visits for essential shopping and errands with the understanding that masking, distancing, and hand hygiene is followed per the CDC guidelines at all times. If a resident would like to visit family, this will depend on several variables and may require a 10-day quarantine after the visit. Please contact Ann Kaye, Director of Nursing to discuss the type of visit proposed. We will follow County recommendations regarding whether quarantine will still be required.
Thank you to all of you who have supported our efforts in keeping the residents and staff safe, we appreciate your cooperation.
If you have any questions, please contact Corine Bernard, Executive Director at 650-318-5809 (email: firstname.lastname@example.org) or Ann Kaye, Director of Nursing at 650-318-5838 (email: email@example.com).
